Our school celebrated English Language Day on 23rd April 2026 with great enthusiasm and excitement. The celebration aimed to promote the importance of the English language and enhance students' communication and literary skills.The programme began with a welcome speech by the Principal, who highlighted the significance of English as a global language and encouraged students to develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Various activities were organized for students of different classes. These included speech competitions, storytelling sessions, poetry recitation, vocabulary games, quiz contests, and role-plays. Students participated actively and showcased their creativity, confidence, and language proficiency.A special presentation on the life and works of William Shakespeare, one of the greatest English writers, was conducted to mark the occasion. Teachers also shared interesting facts about the English language and motivated students to cultivate the habit of reading books.

The winners of various competitions were awarded certificates and prizes. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, teachers, and students for making the celebration a grand success.The English Language Day celebration was both educational and enjoyable. It helped students appreciate the richness of the English language and inspired them to improve their communication skills.
