Our school celebrated World Book Day with great enthusiasm on 23rd April 2026. The programme was organized to encourage students to develop the habit of reading and to understand the importance of books in life.

The celebration began with a welcome speech by the principal, who explained the value of books as a source of knowledge and inspiration. Teachers shared information about famous books and authors, and students participated in various activities such as book reading, storytelling, book review, and quiz competitions.

A book exhibition was also arranged in the school library where students explored different kinds of books. Some students came dressed as their favorite story characters, which made the event more interesting and enjoyable.

The programme was successful in creating awareness about reading habits and the importance of books. It ended with a vote of thanks and inspired students to read more books regularly.
