Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at our school. The celebration aimed to acquaint students with the life, teachings, and values of Lord Krishna and to create awareness about India’s rich cultural heritage.
The programme began with a warm welcome to the Principal, teachers, and students. The school premises were beautifully decorated with flowers, colourful decorations, and pictures of Lord Krishna. Students dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha, adding charm and joy to the celebration.
A special prayer and devotional songs were presented by the students. Teachers and students shared inspiring thoughts about Lord Krishna’s teachings, especially the importance of truth, duty, kindness, courage, and devotion. Students also presented a short Krishna-themed skit and dance performance, which was enjoyed by everyone.
A Dahi Handi activity was also organised, creating an atmosphere of excitement and celebration. Students participated enthusiastically while maintaining discipline and teamwork.
